Not a Bad Year for Dengue in Singapore

Case count numbers for Dengue in Singapore are right at forecast normal levels, according to data from Ascel Bio’s Singapore Infectious Disease Forecast StationTM.    Case counts have been tracking along the “blue line” of a normal anticipated range.  This is reassuring after a some bad years for dengue in Singapore, and after a 2013 season that showed global epidemic potential.  Dengue is one of many diseases carried by mosquitos.  A key to preventing dengue is mosquito repellant.
